These are your options

Charter or Scheduled ?

Charter. All UK Tour operators offer holiday packages to GOA, these can offer extremely good value for money, sometimes the total cost for a 14 day holiday is only a little more than the cost of the flight only, we would suggest that you check these offers out carefully, check the reputation of the accommodation offered some 2 or 1 star Hotels can be very basic, ok if you are happy with this but check with a review site first, Holiday Truths GOA Hotels is excellent. Once you move up to 3 star the quality improves but still check the review site for up to date info from actual holidamakers.

Charter (Flight Only).

 By Scheduled and then Train

The following gives details of getting around in Goa, I would suggest a taxi, if shared these can be very affordable, if you really want to save money try the local bus, very cheap but can be very busy at times, just get a seat near to a door so that you can exit easily past the shopping, chickens etc. avoid renting a scooter, some are very dodgy and your travel insurance will probably not pay out when you fall off, and considering the state of the roads you probably will fall off.    Webmasters note.

Getting Around -- Note that it shouldn't take much longer than 4 hours to cruise the entire coastline, so everything in this chapter is within easy reach.
